The first seminar was co-presented by Prof Alison Kearney and Dr Louis Botha. Working towards an inter- disciplinary understanding, Kearney guided participants in a series of arts- based activities, to think through what transformation means across disciplines. Everyone created a play-dough representation of transformation, and then spoke about ideas of transformation that emerged from analysing the artifacts. This was a good example of creative research methods being used to explore critical concepts.
